Air Canada added fuel surcharges on to fares for domestic flights and US routes to cover higher fuel costs. For North American flights, the surcharge is $20, $40 or $60 depending on the distance flown, effective immediately. That is in addition to surcharges already in place for flights overseas. The transborder surcharge matches those already announced by many US carriers, Air Canada claimed.

Greyhound in the US is trying a new experiment called Bolt Bus. Service so far is between New York, Boston, Philidephia and Washington. Fares are currently as low as $1. There is even free wi-fi right on the bus and electrical plugs, with more leg room. If you are visiting these cities in the US it might be worth a visit.
There are a few websites that allow you to book sightseeing tours ahead of time. Okay, but why would you want to book ahead of time?
There are a number of reasons. You are on a cruise and you are only going to be in a port for a few hours, or you need a transfer and want a tour with it as well. You are flying into a city and want a tour the next morning to help familiarized yourself with the city. Or you want someone local to guide you for the day.

While you may be able to drive in Canada at the age of 16 and you can vote at 18 (and drink if you are 18 or 19), you may find it difficult to rent a car until you are 25.
Statistically, drivers under the age of 25 get into more auto accidents than any other age group, car rental agencies often are unwilling to rent you a car. They often restrict what cars you can rent and then charge a particularly high fee as well as requiring that you take the CDW. They also often completely ban drivers until they reach the age of 21, entirely. So, what is someone under 25 to do?
